The large-scale fire that broke out today at around 13 p.m. near the Koman Bridge towards Beri has been extinguished, the acting commander of the Capital City Protection and Rescue Service, Nikola Bojanović, told Vijesti.
According to Bojanić, the Protection Service extinguished several fires that were active near the Crooked Bridge.
As he pointed out, the hall in the town of Smokovac, near Podgorica, was also saved.
According to him, the fire near the Koman Bridge was reported at 13.22:XNUMX p.m., so the local service sent seven vehicles to the scene.
Bojanović previously told Vijesti that he had contacted both the Bar and Nikšić Protection and Rescue Services for help. He said at the time that it was a "serious fire", adding that he had sent a request to the Protection and Rescue Directorate to deploy an aircraft.
The police were also notified of the fire, as it is suspected that one person set fires at multiple locations in the area.
