"General police officers conducted 870 searches of apartments, people and vehicles, and on that occasion found and seized 346 firearms and 18.982 pieces of ammunition," the Police Directorate said.

Taking measures and actions within their jurisdiction, police officers of the Border Police Sector conducted a total of 50 searches and seized 25 weapons and 1.268 pieces of ammunition.
