Montefarma pharmacies in Tuzi and Risan will continue to provide services without interruption, the state-owned pharmaceutical company announced.
"A tentative agreement has been reached on the continued use of the premises where the pharmacies are currently located, which has created conditions for uninterrupted operation and the availability of therapy and advice to citizens. Patient health care and safety remain our priority, and we will, as before, be dedicated to providing accessible, safe and high-quality pharmaceutical services," Montefarma said in a statement.
The company thanked citizens for their trust and support.
The Galenika business premises in Tuzi and Risan, where Montefarm had been a tenant for 12 years, were transferred last month to the private company - the secured creditor MK Nova Invest. The new owner, MK Nova Invest, ordered the Montefarm health institution to vacate the premises by the end of the week, which would leave the municipality of Tuzi without its only state-owned pharmacy, which is why its citizens protested yesterday.
