Be humane: Thanks to a Montenegrin family from Berlin, funds have been provided for the continuation of Đurađe Raičević's treatment

Thanks to the selfless donation of a Montenegrin family from Berlin, all the funds necessary for the continuation of the treatment of Đurađe Raičević, an eight-year-old boy from Podgorica, who has been struggling with challenges on the autism spectrum since birth, were provided, the Budi Human Foundation announced today.

"The Montenegrin family from Berlin once again sets an example of the values ​​they consistently cherish - compassion, dedication and genuine care for the youngest members of our society. This act of kindness once again confirms how important it is to have people who selflessly follow and support the work of the 'Be Humane' Foundation, recognizing the importance of the mission that every child deserves an equal chance for a happier upbringing," the statement says.

The Budi Human Foundation added that thanks to this support, Đurađ now has a new chance to continue with intensive speech therapy and sensory-integrative treatments at a specialized rehabilitation center in Zagreb.

"These treatments are crucial for his further speech and motor development, independence and social inclusion. The user profile has been officially closed, and another little one has been given the opportunity to continue the path of progress that leads to a more carefree childhood," the statement reads.
