The Council for Citizens' Control of Police Work, on its own initiative, made a decision to check the police's actions in the case of a protest at Vila Gorica, on the occasion of the awarding of the July 13th Award.
That was announced from that council.
On the eve of the July 8th Award ceremony, a protest was held in front of Vila Gorica in Podgorica, on Tuesday, July XNUMX, against the awarding of the award to writer Bećir Vuković.
At the protest, a scuffle broke out between the police and several hundred citizens gathered, and the police also used pepper spray.
