A Montenegrin citizen was successfully evacuated from an inaccessible, wild beach located behind the Golo Brdo tunnel in Sutomore, the Maritime Safety and Port Management Administration (UPSUL) said.
It is stated that the Maritime Operations Center received a call for emergency intervention at 11:XNUMX a.m., after the Emergency Medical Services team requested a maritime evacuation of a person who had previously been pulled from the sea, but due to the inaccessibility of the terrain, it was not possible to transport her by land.
It is added that UPSUL immediately responded to the call, and a SAR-5 rescue boat was dispatched to the scene.
"The person was safely evacuated to the Port of Bar, where he was handed over to the ambulance team for further care," the statement said.
UPSUL said that the operation lasted about 20 minutes and was completed successfully.
They stated that, in addition to the SAR-5, a boat from the Bar Border Police Service also participated in the operation, as well as a boat from one of the private beach tenants, who provided support on the ground.
