The best secondary and primary school students at the Cultural Center in Bijelo Polje were today ceremoniously awarded "Luča" diplomas, plaques and awards.

276 students were awarded in Bijelo Polje.

The President of the Municipal Council, Selma Omerović, said that the awarded students are not there by chance, and that behind every individual success lies talent, but also great work and sacrifice, making not only the families but also the entire community proud.

"When I look at you, future professors, doctors, engineers, architects, athletes, as well as all those who will shape the world around us, I feel deep faith and I am not afraid for the progress of both our local community and the state of Montenegro," emphasized Omerović, adding that the successes of the students are actually the successes of all the teachers and professors who have invested their effort and knowledge.

She wished the best students that this day would be an encouragement to step forward bravely and always strive for new heights.

Omerović presented plaques to the students of the generation, high school students Jovana Bugarin and Tarik Idrizović, Anesa Čoković from the Secondary Electro-Economic School and Anđela Knežević from the Secondary Vocational School.
