Due to the manner in which an ultralight seaplane of the "Icon A5" type with American registration plates (N588A) flew above the waters of Boka Bay today, the Civil Aviation Agency of Montenegro (ACG) has launched an urgent extraordinary inspection of the operator of that aircraft, the pilot who flew it, as well as other entities that, according to aviation and navigation safety regulations, should be included in the approval and control of seaplane operations in Boka Bay.

This "Icon A5", which according to unofficial information belongs to sports pilot Dragiša Gaga Raičević from Berane, flew over the waters of the Risan Bay in the area of Morinje and Kostanjica today in an extremely low flight, just ten meters above the sea.

In doing so, this aircraft literally flew between various vessels that happened to be in this part of Boka Bay at that moment, "wandering" between them at a short distance and at a height often lower than the height of the masts of the sailboats between which the seaplane was flying.

This aggressive maneuvering and extreme flying of the seaplane attracted great attention from numerous tourists and locals who photographed and filmed the "Icon A5" flying, reported it to the authorities and submitted it to the media.

At one point, the seaplane landed on the sea in front of Ljuta, at a position that is clearly marked on all nautical charts as anchorage 2/3 of the Port of Kotor.

Immediately upon learning of this event, the CAA launched an emergency inspection due to the potential threat to flight safety, as well as the safety of people and property on the coasts and in the waters of the Bay of Kotor.

Experienced aviation experts, to whom "Vijesti" showed footage of today's activities of the pilot of this "Icon A5", characterized his actions as "profanity, not flying".

They also believe that the pilot is very likely to face the possibility of having his pilot's license revoked and "grounded for an extended period" because of this.
