Budva Old Town: Plastic crates covered the hole in the canal

Residents of the Old Town in Budva have figured out how to solve the problem of broken metal grates on the canal.

Stari Grad resident and councilor in the Budva parliament of the citizens' group "Movement for the City", Đorđe Zenović, posted a photo on social media with the message "work in progress" (translated from English: works in progress), ironically referring to the slogan that the Municipality posts on social media every day with photos of implemented actions to solve utility problems.

"After half a year of inaction by municipal services to replace one square of the sewer grate - we have found a solution. It only takes a few days for the plastic from the crates to melt in the heat and "lay down" properly, so we ask tourists, delivery with pallet trucks and Glovo for patience and caution," Zenović wrote in a post on social media.
