Marijana Camović Velicković, Janko Ljumović and Nikola Tatar were proposed as members of the Council of Radio and Television of Montenegro (RTCG), while Dragoljub Vuković and Niko Martinović were voted in as members of the Council of the Agency for Audiovisual Media Services.
This was decided today during the 49th Session of the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro.
The president of that committee, Jelena Nedović, said that this parliamentary body submits proposals for the list of members of the Council to the Parliament of Montenegro for consideration and decision-making.
"The Administrative Board is the one that determines the list proposal, and the Parliament of Montenegro, or rather the plenum, is the one that will declare and vote on this proposal whether the candidates pass or fail," said Nedović.
Nedović also noted that the Administrative Board has had a problem with a lack of quorum since the beginning of the year.
"That's not fair. It could happen once or fifteen times. But every time? That's why my tone is the way it is," she added.
Nedović reminded that the candidate of the Montenegrin PEN Center is Jelena Šušanj.
"Given that in the previous term of the convocation, the candidate of the Montenegrin PEN Center, Rajko Todorović Todor, was appointed, based on Article 148, paragraph five of the Law, in this procedure, the authorized proposer, the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts, namely the candidate Niko Martinović, has priority," Nedović stated.
