As announced, the reconstruction is taking place within the project "Program for Improving Montenegrin Education", which the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation is implementing in cooperation with the European Investment Bank (EIB).
The Ministry of Education and Science pointed out that the works include the renovation of the facade, the adaptation of the entire interior of the school (floors, walls, ceilings), the removal of existing light wooden partitions between classrooms, as well as part of the toilets, and the replacement of the entire high and low voltage electrical installation.
They added that the value of the works is around 800.000 euros and that all interior work will be completed by the start of the school year.
"Representatives of the Ministry and the school director Krsto Vuković concluded that in the previous period, thanks to the successful cooperation between the Ministry and the school, several significant projects have been launched that will contribute to improving the quality of the teaching process in this institution, whose students and teachers have achieved exceptional results in various fields in previous years. This project represents another step towards creating a modern and stimulating educational environment, which will contribute to the development of the potential of each student and the improvement of the quality of teaching in all educational institutions throughout Montenegro," the MoESI statement states.
