Janković is the second XE scholarship recipient - a scholarship of 43.000 euros

Student Jovan Janković from Podgorica, who won a bronze medal at the 9th European Physics Olympiad (EuPhO 2025) this year, became the second XE scholarship recipient.

From the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, this is a scholarship in the total amount of 43.000 euros net (600 euros per month), which is awarded to male and female students who win medals at international competitions in the field of knowledge.

"Jovan, in addition, received a commendation this year at the International Physics Olympiad held in July, and last year he was also commended at the same competition, which was then held in Iran - thus confirming the continuity of exceptional results at the global level. Last year he received a silver medal at the Balkan Physics Olympiad held in Nikšić," it was announced.

The scholarship agreement was signed on behalf of the company by CEO Tijana Bulatović, who expressed her satisfaction that Jovan was selected as the second scholarship recipient of the program.

"We introduced this program to encourage excellence and support young people who, with their work and results, deserve every help on the path of scientific and professional development. We are proud that Jovan is becoming part of this story."

Minister of Education, Science and Innovation Anđela Jakšić Stojanović emphasized that such scholarships are the best example of how institutions and the economy can jointly invest in the future of Montenegro.

"The XE company is a true example of social responsibility. Every investment in young people who achieve exceptional results is an investment in a better Montenegro. We look forward to new successes and new scholarship recipients," said Jakšić Stojanović.

Janković expressed his gratitude for the scholarship, emphasizing that it represents a significant incentive for his further work and study, as well as an obligation to justify the trust placed in him.

The first winner of this scholarship in the amount of 43.000 is Aleksa Damjanović, and the company XE, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, will continue to support young people who represent Montenegro in the world in the best way in the coming period.
