The effective response of the competent institutions to the illegal installation of a memorial in Berane clearly shows that the state will not tolerate illegal actions that disturb society, said Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.
"Revising history through such actions is a futile task for those who have bad intentions regarding our EU future. Montenegro will be a modern state in which laws are respected and in which historical facts are not tailored to political ambitions," Spajić wrote on Iks.
The Police Directorate arrested Beranec VD (59) today and filed a criminal complaint for the criminal offense of injury and unauthorized erection of a memorial, after a monument to the Chetnik commander Pavle Đurišić was erected in the Berane village of Gornje Zaostro.
