Due to a breakdown in the regional water supply system at the construction site of the Tivat-Jaz boulevard in Grbalj, the entire area of the Tivat municipality has been without water supply since 17 p.m.
This is the result of the fact that the Tivat Water Supply and Sewerage Company, faced with a complete interruption of the supply from the Regional Water Supply System, had to urgently introduce emergency restrictions in the supply of consumers in Tivat.
The Waterworks explained that they have only 17 liters per second of water with increased salinity, which is currently provided by the local Plavda spring in Lepetani.
Therefore, from 17 p.m. today until XNUMX a.m. tomorrow morning, all valves on the pipelines to the city will be closed.
During that time, water from Plavda will be pumped into the main city reservoir Pod Kuk, so that it can be accumulated for some kind of supply to the city during the day tomorrow.
The Regional Water Supply Company announced that the damage to their infrastructure in Grbalj will most likely not be able to be repaired before tomorrow.
