At the end of June, the Employment Office in Pljevlja registered 1.644 unemployed people from Pljevlja, 274 fewer than in the same period last year. The number of unemployed people decreased by 98 compared to the beginning of the year, and by 638 fewer than in the same period in 2023, when there were 2.282 unemployed people at the labor office.
According to the Institute's statistical report, the number of unemployed people in Pljevlja at the end of June was 50 fewer than the previous month.
Of the total number of unemployed people registered at the Labor Bureau in Pljevlja, 1.073 are women, or 64,9 percent of the total number.
According to the records of the Labor Bureau, a third of the unemployed are without a school diploma or have completed elementary school.
At the end of June, the largest number of unemployed people had a fourth-level education, 568, of which 412 were women. There was a large number of unemployed people without a school education, 472 of them, two-thirds of whom were women, and 62 with a second-level education, or completed primary school, where women also predominated.
There were also 417 citizens with a completed third degree vocational education, where women also dominated.
With a university degree in Pljevlja, 62 people from Pljevlja were waiting for a job at the end of June.
Eight master's degree holders are also waiting for employment, seven of whom are women.
The majority of unemployed people in Pljevlja, 733 of them, who are waiting for employment, are over 50 years old, and 40 are between 50 and 375 years old.
According to statistics published by the Employment Agency, every fourth unemployed person in Pljevlja has a disability, most of whom are women.
A total of 434 unemployed people with disabilities are registered, most of whom have a first degree (184), and only one has a university degree.
There are 586 citizens registered who are seeking employment for the first time, most of whom are without a school diploma (187), and with a fourth-level education (161).
In June 2023, a total of 43 job vacancies were reported to the Institute, of which a maximum of 12 were for employment with a university degree and 11 with a high school diploma.
Since the beginning of the year, as stated in the report from the Employment Agency's records, 297 people from Pljevlja have been employed, 19 of whom have a university degree.
423 unemployed people from Pljevlja were entitled to financial compensation in June, and they were paid a total of just under 101.000 euros.
