The Miners' Day race will bring together runners from the region

On the occasion of Miners' Day, on Saturday, September 27, a race called "TERRA PULSE 2025" will be organized in Pljevlja. The start of the race is scheduled for 11 am in the wider city center, and a large number of professional runners and recreational runners from Montenegro and countries in the region are expected to participate.

The event aims to promote healthy lifestyles, sportsmanship and togetherness, and all interested people over the age of 15 have the right to participate.

"This event brings together professional runners and recreational runners over the age of 15 from Montenegro and the region, with the aim of promoting healthy lifestyles, sportsmanship and togetherness. The race is planned through the wider center of Pljevlja, a city that, together with the Coal Mine and the Pljevlja Power Plant, forms a key point in the economic and energy development of Montenegro. Participants will have the opportunity to choose between two routes - 4 km (recreational race) and 8 km (competitive race). Registration for participation is free, and each competitor receives a starting package that includes a T-shirt, starting number and medal. The deadline for registration is September 15, 2025," the Coal Mine said in a statement.

The winner of the 8-kilometer race will win a cash prize of 500 euros, the runner-up 200 euros, and the participant who crosses the finish line third will win XNUMX euros.

Prizes are awarded separately for the male and female competition, and special prizes of 200 euros will be awarded to the best male and female Pljevlja residents in this race.

For participants in the 4 km recreational race, medals and diplomas are provided for the first three places in the male and female categories.

Competitors will be able to pick up their starting packages on the day of the race at Trg 13. jul from 8 am to 10 am, and in case of bad weather conditions - at the administration building of the Pljevlja Coal Mine.

Those interested in the race can also register via website of the Triathlon Club Herceg Novi.
