The situation in the burned areas on the territory of Podgorica - Kučka korita and Piperi (Seoca, Godnje mrke and Radeća) is currently stable, although the fire is smoldering, "Vijesti" was told unofficially by the Protection and Rescue Service of the Capital City of Podgorica.

The acting head of the Protection and Rescue Service of the Capital City, Nikola Bojanović, previously told "Vijesti" that the situation in the burned areas on the territory of Podgorica is stable, and that although Piperi and Kučka korita are very demanding, they are keeping the situation under control.
The situation in Kučki koriti is better than before, and a team of firefighters is actively working in Kučki koriti.
A fire is burning in the area of the Piper hamlet of Seoca, where help from the Italian Air Force will soon arrive, "Vijesti" was previously told unofficially by the Directorate for Protection and Rescue of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP).
It was specified at that time that, in addition to Montenegrin firefighters, a helicopter from Hungary was providing air assistance at that location, but that the assessment was that Canadian assistance was also necessary.
The fire on Dajbabska Gora has been completely extinguished, the Directorate of Protection and Rescue told "Vijesti", and a Serbian helicopter provided aerial assistance to firefighters.
Previously, fires were active in Piperi - Gornja Mrka, Radeća and Seoc, where, in addition to local firefighters and Montenegrin soldiers, rescuers from Austria and Switzerland were also active.
According to information from the Directorate, air assistance in Piperi is being provided by a Hungarian helicopter, and should soon be joined by a Canadian helicopter from Italy, while a helicopter from Bosnia and Herzegovina was active this morning above Dinoša, after which it continued to assist in Piperi. The aircraft of the Czech Republic is assisting firefighters from Danilovgrad with the fire in the Topolovo locality, and Donje Uble and Kučka korita, according to the same information, are being extinguished by the domestic fleet - two military helicopters and a plane of the Ministry of the Interior of Montenegro.
Bojanović previously told "Vijesti" that a fire on Dajbabska Gora was localized in Podgorica.
He also said at the time that the situation in Piperi was not satisfactory.

Podgorica Mayor Saša Mujović was also in Kučki Koriti. He and Bojanović talked to locals and toured the area.
The fire in Dajbabe was also extinguished by a helicopter from Serbia, which dropped water eight times in a short period of time, after which the fire was localized.

Helicopters were also extinguishing the fire on Bioč today.
Bojanović said earlier today that the situation at that location was no worse than yesterday, and that a fire had developed on Kučki koriti, but that it was not of a threatening nature.
Last night in Podgorica was particularly difficult when it came to fires - Piperi, Blizna, Gornja Radeća and Stijena Piperska were challenging terrain for firefighters.
According to Bojanović, Dajbabska gora was burning last night as well.
"Petrovići was also a demanding terrain. Today, a helicopter from Bosnia and Herzegovina will help us put out the fire in Dinoša," he said.

When asked what the situation was like today, Bojanović had previously said that it should be better. He explained that more aircraft would be deployed today, as well as more personnel on the ground.
