Members of the Search and Rescue Organization of Serbia (OTIS), during a private stay in Durmitor National Park, carried out an unusual rescue operation - the evacuation of a dog from Bobotov Kuk, the highest peak of Durmitor.
The dog, they said, was hungry, thirsty and exhausted, without the strength to descend from the summit on his own. On the demanding and exposed terrain, rescuers carefully carried him to safety.
"This spontaneous action shows once again that rescue knows no boundaries, because every life is precious, whether it belongs to a human or an animal," OTIS posted on Instagram.
