The Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology (ZHMS) announced that unstable weather conditions will occur on Thursday night and Friday morning, which will cause short-term intense precipitation and more abundant rain, primarily in the southern and central regions of the country.
Locally, more abundant and pronounced showers are expected, and in some places, short-term weather conditions accompanied by hail are possible, the ZHMS said in a statement.
"Tomorrow (August 21.8.2025, XNUMX) at the end of the day, during the night and on Friday morning, the influence of the high-altitude valley will strengthen from western Europe, which will move towards our region via Italy with an influx of colder and wetter air, which will cause unstable weather conditions and short-term intense precipitation, more abundant rain, primarily in the southern and central regions. Locally, more abundant and pronounced showers are expected, and in some places short-term weather conditions accompanied by hail are possible. In addition to rain, in the zone of thunderclouds, strong, gusty and stormy winds are possible," the ZHMS announced.
The sea will be wavy to slightly rough.
"Due to this synoptic situation and short-term heavy rain, certain consequences on the ground are possible," it was announced.
