Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović said he was confident that the Tuzi, with responsible governance and the support of citizens, would continue to strengthen their institutional capacity and "build a future worthy of the history they inherit."
Milatović congratulated the leadership of the Municipality of Tuzi, councilors and residents on September 1st - Municipality Day.
"Today, your municipality occupies a significant place in the country when it comes to agriculture, trade and small entrepreneurship. Its natural resources - from the gentle Zatrijepča plain, to the beauties of Lake Skadar and the mountainous hinterland - testify to the enormous tourist and ecological potential, which can and should become the engine of sustainable development. We are also aware of the challenges that the municipality faces - from infrastructure needs and environmental issues, to the need for greater investments in education, healthcare and support for young people. However, I believe that, with responsible governance, as well as the support of citizens, Tuzi will continue to strengthen its institutional capacity and build a future worthy of the history they inherit," Milatović announced.
He said that the institution of the President remains committed to supporting all quality initiatives coming from the municipality of Tuzi - whether they concern local development, improving public services, preserving cultural heritage, or encouraging the economy and tourism.
"I believe that by working together, with open dialogue and respect for local needs, we can contribute to creating even better living conditions for all citizens of Tuzi. Happy Tuzi Municipality Day - with wishes for lasting progress, mutual respect and success, for the benefit of all citizens," the greeting reads.
