The Center for Bird Protection and Study (CZIP) announced today that citizens from Drezga in Piperi reported that they had found killed vultures.
"The photos they sent us clearly show that this strictly protected species, which is currently on a difficult migration path, has been shot. This species is protected by numerous domestic laws and international treaties, but it seems that the word of mouth and honesty have long gone out of fashion," CZIP posted on their Facebook profile.
The non-governmental organization (NGO) added that they are asking all citizens who have any information about this crime to submit it anonymously to the relevant state institutions via the portal. cuvaj.me.
"In honor of this bird, talk to your children today about the importance of loving and protecting nature and ourselves. Let's raise generations who will not shoot birds," said the CZIP.
