Funds for the treatment of Jelena Pavlović from Nikšić, who suffers from a severe cervical tumor, have been fully provided, the Humanost.com platform announced today.
"Jelena Pavlović (32) from Nikšić is a young girl who had her dreams - to build a career and live a peaceful and fulfilling life. At the end of 2023, she was faced with a difficult diagnosis of cervical cancer and that's when her fight began. With the support of a large number of people, through the humanost.com platform, funds were raised for the operation and Jelena successfully overcame the first obstacle. She returned her smile and began to hope and believe that she would rebuild her dreams," the statement said.
The Humanost.com platform added that in May of this year, life dealt Jelena another heavy blow - the disease metastasized, and doctors recommended treatment in Turkey, for which it was necessary to raise 30.847 euros.
"In less than three days, thanks to the immense humanity of the community, 18.100 euros were collected through the humanost.com platform. Today, Jelena shared wonderful news with us - an anonymous donor personally came forward and paid the remaining amount, which fully provided the funds for treatment and the campaign is successfully concluded. We would like to thank all the big-hearted people who selflessly contributed to this humanitarian campaign, and we wish Jelena to return from Turkey as a winner and to continue building her dreams and living life to the fullest," the statement reads.
