Minister of Education, Science and Innovation Anđela Jakšić Stojanović met with Mohammed Al Kuwaiti, head of the Cybersecurity Council of the United Arab Emirates, an institution that plays a key role in defining national policies in the field of cybersecurity and digital transformation.
The meeting was an opportunity to exchange experiences and establish the foundation for future cooperation between Montenegro and the UAE in the fields of digital security, AI technologies and education, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation announced.
Jakšić Stojanović presented the activities of the department regarding the introduction of artificial intelligence into the Montenegrin education system, both in primary and secondary schools. Special emphasis was placed on the development of digital competencies of students and teachers, along with the responsible use of new technologies.
Al Kuwaiti pointed out that the UAE Cybersecurity Council covers all state institutions and that their artificial intelligence strategy involves a two-pronged approach: “AI for security” and “security for AI.” This means using AI to improve security, but also developing tools to protect AI systems themselves.
"In the context of education, Dr. Al Kuwaiti shared the experiences of the UAE, where advanced AI algorithms have already been implemented in most schools. These systems allow not only for monitoring cybersecurity, but also for analyzing student achievement and teaching staff effectiveness, thus supporting personalized and more effective education," the statement reads.
