The capital city has announced a tender for the procurement of two "I love Podgorica" signs with metal 3D letters, worth 16.528 euros excluding value added tax (VAT), but it is not yet known where they will be placed.
According to the documentation available on the CEJN website, the Capital City, among other things, requires that the signs be steel structures.
"Vijesti" was unofficially told by the Capital City that three possible locations for the installation of the two signs were being considered. They also told the editorial staff that they had also asked the Tourist Organization (TO) of Podgorica for its opinion on the matter.
Executive Director of the Podgorica Municipal Administration Dragan Grnović He told "Vijesti" that they received a request from the Capital City, and that they will "visit potential locations early next week."
"There are very few locations in the city center that would be suitable for placing the 'I love Podgorica' sign. We (the Podgorica Tourist Organization) will do our best to find a large and spacious location with a beautiful view of the city," said Grnović.
The tender for the procurement of two "I love Podgorica" signs was announced on September 12th and is open until today. According to the CeJN website, the metal 3D letters should be nine meters long.
According to the information in the description of that procurement, the height of the letters on the right side should be 1,8, and on the left one meter.
The CEJN website states that the structure's floor should be made of steel and the concrete should be anchored.
The selected bidder will be obliged to paint and adequately install the signs.
"The thickness of the steel sheet should be three millimeters. The thickness of the floor formwork should be five millimeters... The contract execution deadline is 20 days from the date of conclusion. The warranty period is 12 months for completely completed work," the documentation states.
