Although the successful tourist summer has ended and the winter season is just around the corner, Kolašin has prepared a rich and diverse program of events for visitors during October. The intention is to make the off-season period especially interesting for tourists.
The Tourist Organization (TO) and the Cultural Center have announced a calendar of events that will enrich the city's non-boarding offer this month. The program begins on October 4th with an adventurous climb on the Via Ferrata "Lipovo", and four days later there is a musical and poetic evening.
Two children's workshops are planned for the youngest, on October 10 and 27, as well as a special activity, a face painting workshop for children on October 24. Nature lovers can expect two hiking tours: on October 11 to the Moračke Planine Lebršnik, and on October 25 to Vasojevićki Kom.
Creative people will have the opportunity to enjoy the combination of art and socializing through the Paint and Wine workshop on October 17. The sports spirit will be revived by the Karate tournament "Kolašin Winner" on October 18, which will also bring together numerous young athletes.
"With such a program, October in Kolašin will be filled with events that attract different profiles of visitors, from families with children, to sports and recreational enthusiasts, to lovers of culture and art. In this way, we strive to offer a rich and diverse offer even during the off-season," say the TO and the Center.
This year's summer tourist season in Kolašin was significantly more successful than the previous one, she previously assessed for "Vijesti". Zorica Milašinović, director of TO.
According to her, during July, 25 percent more guests were recorded than in the same month last year, or 3.500 more to be exact. The number of visits was also higher in June, despite the absence of flights from Israel in the second half of the month. Throughout the summer, the accommodation capacity was excellently filled, and guests, as she stated, showed particular interest in accommodation in villages and eco-cottages.
Tourists from the region, as well as from Israel, Germany, France, the Czech Republic and other countries, spent their summers in Kolašin. According to announcements, a visit during the off-season should also bring good numbers of visitors to accommodation facilities.
