Five decorative olive trees were uprooted, and three flower pots recently placed on the main city street in the heart of the city, Mediteranska Street in Budva, were destroyed last night.
The utility company said that even beautiful things are not always spared.
"These flowerpots with decorative trees, placed to make our city greener and more beautiful, were found broken and overturned this morning. This is not the work of the wind, but the irresponsible behavior of individuals who, unfortunately, do not respect the common space shared by all fellow citizens. Our Working Unit 'Greenery' makes every effort to make Budva more beautiful, tidier and more pleasant for all of us to live and stay in, and this behavior does not only harm 'Greenery' or our Society, but the entire community. Therefore, we appeal to everyone to protect what is common, because the city is as beautiful as we protect it together," the utility company said.
