This was stated today in the courtroom of the Basic Court in Podgorica by Judge Ilija Radulović, after the time approached when employees in the judiciary would stop work for an hour, as a warning strike due to the difficult position of employees in the category of advisors and independent clerks.

Due to a work stoppage, he adjourned the trial of police officers Petar Lazović and Jugoslav Raičević, accused of torturing two "Skalja" men, at 11 am.

One of the defendants' defense attorneys, attorney Borivoje Borović, said he supports the employees' strike.

Employees of Montenegrin courts began an hourly strike on Monday. The strike is being implemented at the Basic Court in Podgorica, the Appellate Court in Podgorica, the Higher Court in Podgorica, the Commercial Court in Podgorica, the Basic Court in Cetinje, the Basic Court in Ulcinj, the Basic Court in Herceg Novi and the Basic Court in Kotor.

All protesting employees have gathered in the halls of the Basic Court building.
