Not counting the special and firefighting vehicles of the local Protection and Rescue Service, the Municipality of Tivat currently owns and uses 17 official cars and two motorcycles.
This follows from the data that the Secretariat for Local Government submitted to MANS based on a request for free access to information submitted to the Municipality by that NGO.
The largest number of official vehicles of the Municipality is used by the Secretariat for Communal and Inspection Supervision. The Communal Police has three patrol vehicles at its disposal (one “Daciu Duster” from 2021, one “Daciu Sandero Stepway” from 2018 and one “Volkswagen T-cross” from 2022), and two motorcycles, manufactured in 2018 and 2024, respectively). The Communal Inspection has one “Daciu Sandero Stepway” from 2018 and two “Škoda Fabia” from 2024.
The Office of the Mayor uses a protocol official car, the "Škoda Superb 2.0 TDI Ambition" from 2023 and the SUV "Nissan Qashqai 1.6DCI", from 2016, while the office of the President of the local parliament has been given a "Škoda Octavia Ambition 2.0 TDI" from 2023 for use. Another such "Škoda Octavia" from 2023 is at the disposal of the Secretariat for Local Government, which uses a "Renault Talisman 1.6 DCI" from 2016 in addition to that car.
The Investment Directorate uses three official cars: a 2005 Volkswagen Golf V, a 2013 Dacia Sandero, and a 2016 Mitsubishi L200 pickup truck.
The Directorate for Property and Legal Affairs (“Fiat Tipo” from 2016), the Secretariat for Finance (“Renault Clio” from 2008) and the Secretariat for Economy (“Renault Megane” from 2010) each have one official car.
In addition to 19 vehicles in use in various local government bodies, the Municipality owns eight more official vehicles that it has lent for temporary use to the Red Cross for the implementation of the "Home Care" support program for the elderly, the Center for Social Work, while the Public Institution Day Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities and Developmental Difficulties received a van for use. The Municipality has lent as many as five cars for use to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Montenegro, namely the Tivat Security Department.
