The proposal of the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation and the Ministry of Finance is the basis for further negotiations regarding amendments to the Sectoral Collective Agreement for the field of education, the Main Board of the Education Trade Union announced.
The president of that body, Oliver Jakovljević, said that they had analyzed the proposal of the two aforementioned departments regarding further negotiations and that they believe that there is still enough room to negotiate to improve the status of educators, both professionally and materially.
"The goal of these negotiations, as we see it in the Main Board of the Education Union of Montenegro, is to compensate for the reductions in wages incurred through the application of the COZ through amendments to the Sectoral Collective Agreement. The Education Union will do everything in our power to bring these negotiations to an end as soon as possible, to the satisfaction of all employees," said Jakovljević.
