Bojanović confirmed this to "Vijesti", emphasizing that testing for that position was recently held in the Secretariat for Local Self-Government and Cooperation with Civil Society of the Capital City.
"I have no information that there were other candidates. If there were, I don't know why they didn't show up for the test. After the ranking list is made, there will be an interview with the mayor of Podgorica." According to a public competition announced in August, an adult, healthy person who is a Montenegrin citizen and has the prescribed level of educational qualifications can be elected as the commander of the Protection and Rescue Service.
It is also necessary that they have passed a professional exam, and that they have not been convicted of a criminal offense "that makes them unworthy of working in a state body."
In addition to general requirements, there are also specific requirements that the candidate must meet.
"The candidate must have a VII-1 level of educational qualification, at least five years of work experience in protection and rescue tasks at the VII-1 level of educational qualification, have passed the second professional exam for work in state bodies in the field of protection and rescue, and be mentally and physically fit."
The candidate, according to the competition, can submit originals or certified copies of documents.
"A handwritten application for a vacant position stating the JMB and consent to the processing of personal data for the purpose of implementing the vacancy announcement, CV, as well as proof of the completed level of educational qualification. Certificates of passing the professional exam for work in state bodies and passing the second professional exam for work in state bodies in the field of protection and rescue are submitted.
