The Union of Employees of the Putevi Company was formed as a new trade union organization to solve current problems faced by employees.
This union is a member of the branch Trade Union of Transport Workers of Montenegro, and through it, the Union of Free Trade Unions (USSCG).
"Our goal is to begin a social dialogue with the employer in the period ahead in order to resolve issues of importance to the socio-economic position of our members and employees in Putevi, primarily within society, on an argumentative basis, in a constructive dialogue," the statement states.
Special focus will be placed on respecting working hours, accuracy in calculating wages, and increasing wages based on overtime, night, Sunday and holiday work.
"Also, our focus will be specifically on the conditions in which employees work, which for certain jobs are particularly demanding from the aspect of occupational health and safety," the statement concludes.
