By the end of the third quarter of this year, the Municipality of Tivat had generated total revenues of 16.457.658 euros.
This is 65,78 percent of the total current revenues planned for the entire 2025 amounting to 25.017.100 euros.
In addition, the Municipality also had 10,09 million euros of unspent funds from last year, which were transferred to the 2025 budget.
This is stated in the quarterly report on consolidated public spending of the Municipality of Tivat for the period from January 1 to October 1.
Compared to the total budget for 2025, which was planned at 33,87 million euros, the city treasury had total revenues of 27,08 million euros by the end of the third quarter, or a realization rate of 79,95 percent.
In the first nine months of this year, the Municipality earned 13,98 million euros from taxes, or 84,2 percent of the total planned revenue on that basis for the entire 2025, while the realization of planned revenue from fees, of which 1,74 million euros flowed into the budget by the beginning of October, was significantly weaker and amounted to only 25,7 percent at the end of the third quarter.
It is worrying that by the end of September, only 1.376.542 euros had been collected from fees for the development and construction of construction land, which is only 22.56 percent of the 6,1 million euros expected in the budget from utility bills for the entire 2025. This is almost twice as much as the revenue from utilities for the first nine months of 2024.
As for current expenditures, they amounted to 9.681.435 euros in nine months, or 67,94 percent of the annual plan.
By the end of the third quarter, the Municipality of Tivat allocated a total of 1.982.170 euros for salaries and contributions to the salaries of employees in the local government, expenses for services amounted to 985.370, for materials 246.877, and "other expenses" 462.430 euros.
A total of 5.826.252 euros were spent on transfers to institutions, individuals, non-governmental and public sectors in the first nine months of the budget, while capital expenditures for the construction of new infrastructure, public facilities and the procurement of equipment for local enterprises amounted to 7.651.095 euros, recording a level of implementation of the annual plan of 45,7 percent. By the end of the third quarter of this year, capital expenditures of the Municipality of Tivat were almost 2,5 million euros higher than in the same period last year.
