Modernization of institutions is not only a national, but also a global imperative, said Minister of Public Administration Maraš Dukaj.
Dukaj, as announced by the Ministry of Public Administration (MPA), participated in the TRT World Forum 2025, a prestigious international gathering dedicated to global politics and international relations, which was held in Istanbul.
It is reported that Dukaj had the opportunity to briefly meet and greet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
"This year's Forum placed special emphasis on the transformation of the modern world order and the impact of new technologies, media and geopolitics on international stability," the statement said.
It added that the central theme was "Global Reset: From Old Order to New Realities", with a focus on the profound changes shaping the international order, economy, media and technology.
The TRT World Forum brought together leading political leaders, academics, representatives of international organizations, the media and the civil sector to have the opportunity to exchange views on key global challenges.
Dukaj stated that, in a time of global tensions, fragmentation and accelerated geopolitical changes, dialogue and exchange of experiences are the most powerful tools.
As he said, it is essential for Montenegro to be part of such forums, to contribute to joint solutions and to learn from best practices.
"Our commitment to European integration and public administration reform goes hand in hand with active participation in international processes, because the modernization of institutions is not only a national, but also a global imperative," said Dukaj.
The MPA said that Dukaj's presence at the Istanbul forum is an important opportunity for Montenegro to actively engage in global discussions on diplomacy, stability and development.
As announced, by participating in thematic sessions and bilateral discussions, he had the opportunity to exchange experiences and good practices in the context of public administration reform, EU integration, digital transformation and responses to contemporary global challenges.
"This visit contributed to strengthening Montenegro's international reputation, opening up space for cooperation, and confirmed the country's commitment to an active and constructive role in international processes," the MPA said.
