Ćulafić: If it supports the Temporary Facilities Program, DNP will legitimize the construction of the plant in Botun

If the members of the Democratic People's Party (DNP) in the Capital City Assembly support the Temporary Facilities Program in the territory of Podgorica, they will legitimize the construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant on the planned plots and accept the fact that the plots included in the cadastral municipality of Dajbabe are within the territory of the capital city of Podgorica, announced the member of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) in the Capital City Assembly, Stefan Ćučafić.

He said that at today's session of the Capital City Assembly, councilors will express their views on the Program of Temporary Facilities on the territory of the capital.

"Among the numerous novelties such as cafes planned in almost all major Podgorica parks, it will be very interesting how the councilors of the ruling majority, and especially the Democratic People's Party, will express their opinion on the proposal to set up temporary facilities within the Dajbaba administrative district, which also includes plots on which the wastewater treatment plant will be located. If they support the proposed program in this way, the DNP councilors will de facto legitimize the construction of the plant on the planned plots and accept the fact that the plots included in the Dajbaba administrative district are within the territory of the capital city of Podgorica, and thus delegitimize the announced referendum in Zeta and the entire story surrounding the plant by DNP president Milan Knežević and the president of the Zeta Municipality Mihailo Asanović has no political relevance," Ćulafić stated on his account on the X network.

Along with the announcement, he also posted photographs showing, as he added, the plots where the wastewater treatment plant will be built and the plots directly next to them where temporary facilities - halls - are planned.
