The Municipality of Mojkovac has announced a tender, worth around 35.000 euros, including VAT, for the development of the main project for the reconstruction of the city market.
The essential characteristics of the project should, as explained, be defined by the project terms of reference, urban planning and technical conditions (UTU), conceptual design (ID) and the decision on determining the location for the construction of a local facility of general interest, which form an integral part of the tender documentation in question.
The project will be implemented by the Municipality, and the conceptual design was developed by the company "Mediteran Company" DOO from Budva.
According to the ID, the facility will be located on urban plot UP 69, within the DUP “Centre with Gornji Mojkovac”. The total area of the plot is 1.284 square meters. The planned facility has a floor area of Po+P+1+Pk (basement, ground floor, first floor and attic), with a total gross area of approximately 2.156 square meters.
The planned facility should be divided into multiple levels, with modern amenities that meet the needs of citizens.
The basement will house a garage with 20 parking spaces, four of which are for people with disabilities. The garage will be accessible via ramps from the west and east streets, and from there, there will be direct access to the rest of the building via elevators and stairs. This level will also house technical rooms, as well as toilets and a monitoring and heating area.
The ground floor of the building will consist of two main parts, a supermarket and an indoor market. The market will include special areas for the sale of fruit, vegetables, meat and dairy products, with modern refrigeration equipment. Users will be able to enter from the west and south sides, while suppliers will use special service entrances from the east.
The first floor will house commercial spaces and shops, arranged around a central hall, with easily accessible toilets and an elevator connecting all floors. On the top floor, in the attic, a restaurant with a kitchen is planned, as well as additional commercial spaces. The restaurant will offer pleasant views of the city and the surrounding hills, making this level a particularly attractive part of the building.
The roof is designed in two parts, one slightly sloping to the north, and the other in the form of a gable roof extending east-west. Both parts will be covered with sheet metal in a dark, anthracite color, "which will give the building a modern and elegant look."
