Yesterday, as part of the "Foreigner" operation, police officers implemented 49 repressive measures against foreign citizens.
The residence permit of six was cancelled and the termination of temporary residence was initiated for two foreign citizens, two foreign citizens were forcibly removed and expelled, 27 misdemeanor reports were filed, or orders were issued, and ten decisions on the return of persons were issued.
"Since the beginning of 2025, 13.933 measures have been adopted as part of the Foreigner operation, including: 9.148 misdemeanor reports filed, or orders issued, 1.417 decisions on the return of persons issued, 185 persons forcibly removed, while 164 foreign citizens were expelled from Montenegro. The residence of 1.695 persons was canceled, while the termination of temporary residence was initiated for 1.324 persons," the police announced.
They announced that they would continue to intensify controls on the movement, residence and work of foreign citizens in Montenegro.
