Cetinje, nurturing the spirit of freedom, through its historical continuity confirms that it remains at the height of the long-proclaimed enlightened ideals of its famous founders and generations of its visionary builders, said the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milojko Spajić, in his congratulatory message to the leadership and citizens on Liberation Day and the Day of the Royal Capital.
"Aware of the unquestionable fact that Cetinje is the foundation of our statehood, culture, spirituality and tradition, with full dedication we will continue to affirm and encourage all activities that will strengthen its representativeness and real influence on the national economy and contemporary socio-political trends," said Spajić.
He pointed out that today's Cetinje retains that spirit - with a clear stance in the face of contemporary geopolitical challenges and with the unwavering European orientation of its citizens, in terms of values and principles.
"I am convinced that we will continue to improve institutional and personal cooperation, with special sensitivity in our joint effort to heal wounds that are equally painful for all citizens of Montenegro. I am certain that with each new day, our mutual trust, respect and harmony will strengthen, which truly lead us to a society of justice, inclusiveness and economic prosperity," concluded the Prime Minister.
