The thought of Petar II Petrović Njegoš is still a strong foundation of our state and cultural being and an incentive to build a Montenegro that brings together and unites, said the President of the State, Jakov Milatović.
He congratulated the citizens on Njegoš Day, "a celebration of our culture, identity and spirituality."
"Njegoš is one of the greatest creators that Montenegro has given to the world. His thought is still a strong foundation of our state and cultural being today and an incentive to build a Montenegro that brings together and unites. By nurturing the values that Njegoš embodied, including freedom, progress and dignity, we are strengthening Montenegro as a modern, European and open state," Milatović said.
