Iličković: I was too mild, but there is a recording from the session unless it disappeared

Judge of the Constitutional Court Miodrag Iličković confirmed yesterday that he remains with to the previous statement, when he refrained from changing the decision of that court which declared benefits for mothers unconstitutional.

He previously withdrew his support for the court's decision from April 19, when the allowances for mothers were abolished, because, he claims, it was changed the next day and published as such in the "Official Gazette", which is legally inadmissible.

"Even then, I tried to present the whole matter in a milder form, for the sake of the institution itself. For the rest, there is a sound recording of the session, unless it disappeared like the one during the election of the president of the court. And then, as now, it was a "technical failure", he said.

In a statement two days ago, the Constitutional Court rejected the allegations of Judge Iličković, claiming that it was only a technical correction and that the previous decision of the court had not been fundamentally changed.
