The Municipality of Mojkovac, driven by the desire to recognize and reward academic excellence, has announced a Public Competition for Student Awards for the 2025/2026 academic year. The right to the student award can be exercised by students in the final years of undergraduate, master's and doctoral studies, as well as students of medicine, veterinary medicine, and those who are studying abroad. The key condition for all categories is that they are full-time students, Montenegrin citizens with a residence in the municipality of Mojkovac for at least one year. It is also necessary that during the previous years of study they achieved an average grade of at least 9.00 in the passed exams. The Municipality says that this competition is a significant step in supporting education and encouraging academic excellence among young people.

The list of students who have been awarded a municipal scholarship this year has also been published. Of the total of 30 students who have secured scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year, four are from the Faculty of Law, Political Science and Humanities, three from the Faculty of Philosophy, two each from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics and the Faculty of Fine and Visual Arts, and one student each from the Faculty of Biotechnology, the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Philology, the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management and the Polytechnic; in addition, four students studying at international universities were also supported, as well as eight students in shortage professions, which include studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering and Chemistry.
