Meteorologists have issued a red weather alert for the entire territory of Montenegro for Monday.
The website of the Institute of Hydrometeorology and Seismology (ZHMCG) announced that rain, possible weather conditions and hail are expected, especially in the second part of the day and during the night.
The wind will be strong and gusty, with gusts of up to 90 km/h expected, according to the forecast.
At least 33 mm of rain is expected in the north of the state in 24 hours.
Heavy rain is expected in the central part of the country with at least 20 mm of precipitation in three hours, and heavy rain is expected in the south of the country - at least 10 mm in 3 hours.
The Meteorological and Hydrological Service announced that for at least the next seven to eight days, there will be rain in all areas of Montenegro every day, with occasional heavy showers and thunderstorms, accompanied by strong and sometimes stormy southern and southeastern winds, and that severe weather conditions are possible in some places.
"Slightly longer periods without precipitation are possible in the middle and end of Sunday. Cumulatively, at least 100 to 150 liters of rain per square meter will fall in most places, and in some places 250 to 300 liters of rain per square meter. This period will also be marked by strong south and southeast winds, especially on Monday and at the end of Sunday," the ZHMS announced.
They also add that the air temperature will be slightly lower than these days and quite even during the night and day hours.
