Last night's storm caused extensive material damage in the area of the Kolašin municipality.
As the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality Vasilje Ivanović told Vijesti, several houses were flooded, the torrent washed away the bridge in Pažanj near the Dream House hotel, and on the road to the village of Mušovića Rijeka, several hundred "cubic meters" of earth collapsed onto the road, making some roads impassable...
"Road infrastructure was damaged in many places. The mechanization of the Public Utilities Company and almost all private companies was on the ground throughout the night. In this way, we managed to save what could be saved, that is, prevent much greater consequences. However, despite this, the damage is truly enormous," said Ivanović.
In addition to Ivanovic, the Mayor Petko Bakić, Vice-President Miodrag Bulatović, and the President of the Municipal Assembly Vasilje Bulatović were also on the ground throughout the night.
