The Grđevica River has risen in the past few hours due to heavy rainfall, flooding vehicles that drivers left last night in its bed, which is also the largest parking lot in the center of Budva.
This can be seen in the footage where the rising water carries everything before it.
Grđevica dries up for most of the year, so its riverbed, especially during the summer months, turns into a parking lot for hundreds of cars, because there is practically no parking in the Budva field, and hundreds of buildings and houses have been built.
Heavy rainfall has paralyzed part of the Budva settlement of Velji Vinogradi. The street has turned into a river and movement is practically impossible.
The situation is no better in Babin do, where the streets are flooded with water.
Residents of that Budva settlement claim that the construction blocked the canals that used to collect stormwater.
