Municipality of Bar: Awarded young authors, participants of the literary competition "Life without Filters"

Last night, a literary evening was held at the House of Olives to award prizes and certificates of appreciation to participants in the literary competition "Life Without Filters", which was organized by the Municipality of Bar to mark November - the month of fighting addiction.

As stated by the Municipality of Bar, this is a competition aimed at primary and secondary school students from Bar, through a written form that explores, analyzes and emotionally evokes the topic of excessive use of mobile phones, to express their thoughts, emotions and ideas about the impact of digital addiction on life, relationships, school and free time.

Among the 75 submitted works, a three-member jury consisting of professors Ivana Kecojević, Marija Šušter and Maja Simović selected the best ones that presented their view of the given topic in a creative and original way, with a positive vision and solution.

In the primary school category, first place went to Mija Vuković, from the "Kekec" Primary School (mentor: Prof. Staša Savić). Second place went to Lamija Hodžić, a student from the "Mrkojevići" Primary School (mentor: Prof. Sanela Škretović), while third place went to Daris Adrović from the "Jugoslavija" Primary School (mentor: Prof. Ivana Krulanović).

In the high school category, the first prize went to Anđela Zindović from the High School of Economics and Catering (mentor: Prof. Mirjana Savićević), the second place went to Nađa Stanišić, a student from the High School of Vocational Education (mentor: Prof. Valentina Radonjić). The third prize was awarded to a student from the Gymnasium "Niko Rolović", Milica Berilažić (mentor: Prof. Vesna Pavićević), while the special prize went to Hana Hadžibegović from the High School of Vocational Education (mentor: Prof. Valentina Radonjić).

On behalf of the Municipality of Bar, the Secretary of the Secretariat for Sports and Youth, Goran Simić, addressed students, teachers, parents and school representatives, emphasizing that young people are the most important part of our community, and that the Secretariat, through numerous activities, is working to offer them as much quality and useful content as possible. He particularly emphasized the importance of this year's literary competition theme, which focuses on the impact of modern technology, excessive use of mobile phones and the challenges of "life without filters".

After the awarding of diplomas and certificates of appreciation, those present had the opportunity to hear the awarded and particularly notable works, which further highlighted the creativity of the young authors.
