According to the latest data from the local Tourist Organization, 1.924 tourists are currently staying in all types of registered accommodation in the Tivat area.
That's 15 percent compared to the same period last year.
Out of the total number of guests, 1.889 are foreigners, and only 35 are tourists from Montenegro.
The largest number of visitors - 1.716 of them - use the services of private accommodation providers, which currently record a 16 percent higher occupancy rate than last year. A 12 percent increase in visits compared to the same day last year was also recorded in hotels, where 208 tourists are staying.
In the structure of guests, visitors from Russia will lead in terms of numbers, accounting for 25,17 percent of the current number of tourists, followed by Serbia (16,43 percent) and Turkey (8,45 percent).
A significant share is also recorded by visitors from Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Great Britain, while guests from the USA, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Germany are currently present in smaller numbers in Tivat.
