Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro Boris Pejović extended his sincere congratulations to the leadership, as well as to all citizens.
Pejović pointed out that Tivat, a modern, open and dynamic community, today proudly commemorates the memory of its liberation in World War II.
"The sacrifice of the generations that brought freedom then remains the foundation of the progress and prosperity that Tivat experiences today. Your municipality successfully combines the traditional Mediterranean spirit with modern trends in development, becoming a meeting place for cultures, communities and ideas. Tivat is today one of the most prosperous Montenegrin municipalities, recognized worldwide as an elite tourist destination that inspires other communities on the path of economic and sustainable development," Pejović stated in his congratulatory message.
He concluded that by celebrating Municipality Day, we pay respect to both their past and their present – communities that thrive, develop, and preserve their precious values.
Joković: One of the most recognizable symbols of the Montenegrin coast
The President of the Socialist People's Party (SNP), Vladimir Joković, sent his congratulations to all citizens, with the wish that "we celebrate this holiday in the spirit of togetherness, development and respect for the rich tradition that Tivat cherishes."
"Tivat is today one of the most recognizable symbols of the Montenegrin coast - a city that successfully combines modern tourist development with the preservation of its authenticity. Your dedication, work and energy make Tivat a place of opportunity, progress and quality of life," said Joković.
He emphasized that the SNP and he personally will continue to advocate for the balanced development of all municipalities, for investments in infrastructure, education, tourism and the local economy, so that Tivat can continue to walk the path of stable and sustainable growth in the years to come.

The People's Trust Movement (PNP) sent its congratulations to all citizens of Tivat on the occasion of Tivat Municipality Day.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Montenegro for Security, Defense, Fight against Crime and Internal Policy Aleksa Bečić sent his warmest congratulations to the Mayor of the Municipality Željko Komnenović, the President of the Municipal Assembly Miljan Marković, as well as to all citizens of Tivat.
