The Association of Managers of Montenegro (AMM), the Academy for Leadership, Management and Corporate Governance of the AMM and the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro are organizing the Second National Conference "AI DIRECT: Montenegro in the Time of AI Challenges", which will be held on December 3 at the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro.
As announced by AMM, the "AI DIRECT" conference is a national annual event dedicated to artificial intelligence and a platform for strategic dialogue on AI, innovation and economic development of Montenegro, bringing together decision-makers, business leaders, investors and representatives of the academic community in one place.
The central part of the program is an AI open talk with Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, who will present the strategic vision of the Government of Montenegro aimed at accelerating the country's digital development, positioning Montenegro in the global AI economy, and plans for improving public services and the economy through the application of modern technologies. The conversation with the Prime Minister is led by Valentina Radulović, Executive Director of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro.
Mohamed Alabar, founder and chairman of Eagle Hills, Emaar, Americana and Noon groups, is the keynote speaker, who will speak from the perspective of one of the global investors, among other things, about the global transformation of markets under the influence of artificial intelligence, a new approach to investing and the role of technology in the development of modern economies.
The panel program includes three thematic discussions. The first panel, "AI in Banking - Pros and Cons", deals with the transformation of the banking sector through digitalization and the application of artificial intelligence, with a special focus on risk management, security and customer relations. The discussion will feature Lesia Vykhodtseva, President of the Board of Directors of Zapad Banka AD Podgorica, Miloš Miketić, President of the Board of Directors of Lovćen Banka AD Podgorica, and Miloš Pavlović, President of the Board of Directors of Universal Capital Bank AD Podgorica, while the panel will be moderated by Sergej Kapustin, Member of the Board of Directors responsible for the Risk Management Sector at Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka AD Podgorica.
The second panel, entitled "Application of AI in Education, Healthcare and Other Activities", focuses on how artificial intelligence affects the modernization of key social systems - from new possibilities in medical diagnostics and research, to improving the educational process and developing innovative learning models. The panelists are Dr. Aleksandar Radović, Director of the Clinical Center of Montenegro, Dr. Maša Ždralević, Research Associate at the Institute for Advanced Studies and Head of the Laboratory for Molecular Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montenegro, and Mr. Milutin Pavićević, Founder of the Zuno start-up and Assistant Professor at the University of Donja Gorica. The panel is moderated by Ivan Bošković, Executive Director of IT Advanced Services.
The third panel, "A New Era of Business - How AI Changes the Rules of the Game", is dedicated to the impact of artificial intelligence on business models, competitiveness, the start-up ecosystem and the labor market. Prof. Dr. Tomo Popović, associate professor at the University of Donja Gorica, Slavko Kovačević, CEO of DeepMark, and Filip Ivanović, co-founder of Peitho / Sentiment Scope, will share their experiences and visions, while the discussion will be moderated by Ivan Šoć, president of the Artificial Intelligence Committee of the Association of Managers of Montenegro and founder of Five Group.
The conference is organized with the support of the Government of Montenegro, the Ministry of Public Administration and the Secretariat for Entrepreneurship and Investments of the Capital City. The event is realized with the support of the business community and numerous sponsors.
