The Youth Activism Network of Montenegro (MOACG) said that the decision to award the title of European Youth Capital for 2028 to Podgorica represents a huge success for all young people in the capital of Montenegro and confirmation that their work, creativity and activism are recognized at the European level.

"For MOACG, this recognition is additional motivation to continue creating spaces where young people are heard, supported and empowered. Our organization has been working for years to make young people the drivers of change, to create a space in which their position is improved, and this is proof that joint efforts are paying off. We believe that the title of European Youth Capital 2028 will open a new chapter for all of us, a chapter in which ideas are transformed into reality. Let's move forward, together, bravely and loudly," said the NGO, congratulating the team that prepared and presented the entire candidacy process.
