The People's Trust Movement (PNP) congratulated the Capital City on winning the title of European Youth Capital 2028, emphasizing that the initiative of the Minister of Sports and Youth and the leader of the movement, Dragoslav Šćekić, was the key driver of this process.
The movement said that Šćekić's initiative has today been crowned with one of the most significant European titles, and that this once again confirms how important it is to recognize the potential of young people, give them space and believe in their ideas.
"This recognition represents an exceptional success for our capital and a strong incentive for young people across Montenegro, who prove every day that they are the greatest strength and most valuable resource of our society," said the PNP.
They praised the dedicated work of everyone who participated in this, as they said, demanding and important journey - teams, institutions and young people who, through their joint efforts, enabled Podgorica to stand shoulder to shoulder with European centers for the development of youth policy.
"The People's Trust Movement fully supports all initiatives that strengthen the position of young people, their creativity, entrepreneurship and social engagement. We will continue to be a partner in all processes that lead to Montenegro being a country of opportunities for generations to come. Once again, we extend our most sincere congratulations and look forward to the years to come — years marked by the energy, ideas and strength of young people," the statement concludes.
