Although the villagers of Botun who are on duty today at the location planned for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant (collector) in that village claim that they have removed the first tent, the Inspection Directorate has given them two days to dismantle the new one.
The "Vijesti" team found an inspector from the Administration upon arrival, and the locals claimed that he had verbally stated that the first tent had been removed.
At that location, it is possible to see a folded dark green tent and several poles.
Botun resident Slavko Vukčević said that the deadline for removing the first tent "based on the decision" expired today.
"The inspector stated that the tent had been dismantled. However, we set it up because of the rain. We will remove this one as well when the weather conditions improve," he said at the time, adding that he would not leave the location where the current tent is located.
Less than 10 minutes after Vukčević gave a statement to several press crews, the inspector returned with a decision and gave the people of Botunja two days to remove the tent.
However, locals have said they are not giving up on this tent and will defend it. They also said that if the current one is removed, they will set up several more near it.
